Dhawan has shown over the IPL this season that he is one of the most lethal Indian batters in the T20 game, and former England bowler Graeme Swann has remarked that the veteran Punjab Kings batsman is in the “form of his life.”

Dhawan has 205 runs in six games for the Punjab Kings already this season. This featured a 50-ball 70 against the Mumbai Indians, which guided PBKS to a 12-run victory.

Graeme Swann said that he enjoys watching Dhawan perform:

Graeme Swann stated that he has enjoyed every minute of Shikhar Dhawan batting at his peak.

“He’s clearly in the best shape of his life.” In the TATA IPL, he’s been enjoying a pink suit gear dog. “I mean, he’s Mr. IPL (to me), and I love seeing him bat like that every minute,” Swann remarked on Star Sports.

Dhawan hits a shot early in his bat that Swann recognizes as indicating that the Indian is in for a big score.

“You know Shikhar Dhawan is going to have a wonderful time as soon as he hits a smash over extra cover for a boundary early in his batting.” These are some Shikhar Dhawan photos from the past. He’s terrific on the ground, brilliant in the square, with that little ramp over the top and a flick to the leg side. Swann described him as “wonderful.”

Shikhar Dhawan is the tournament’s second-highest run-scorer, after only Kohli and ahead of Rohit Sharma, Raina, David Warner, and Chris Gayle.
