Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2: Plot, Cast, and Everything Else We Know

Fate The Winx Saga

Fate: The Winx Saga will be back soon with new episodes, and the fandom needs season 2 desperately. After the latest news released at Netflix Geeked Week, it’s time to analyze everything we know about the upcoming season.

Fate: The Winx Saga premiered on January 22, 2021, on Netflix. The show was inspired by Winx Club, an animated television show that originally ran from 2004 to 2009, then was revived on Nickelodeon, running from 2011 to 2019.

The story of Fate: The Winx Saga centers around fairies at Alfea, a magical school, where they learn to use their powers. Abigail Cowen, known for her role as Dorcas in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

, stars as Bloom, a fire fairy who was raised by humans. Her friends at Alfea include Stella, a light fairy, played by Hannah van der Westhuysen, Aisha, a water fairy played by Precious Mustapha, Terra, an earth fairy played by Eliot Salt, and Musa, a mind fairy played by Elisha Applebaum.

The four fairies are The Winx, whose main nemesis in Alfea is Beatrix, played by Sadie Soverall, and Rosalind, played by Lesley Sharp. Throughout season 1, the five fairies form alliances and feuds with The Specialists, the magic-less warriors of Alfea — Sky, played by Danny Griffin; the rebellious and troublesome Riven, played by Freddie Thorp; and the seemingly sweet and honest Dane, played by Theo Graham. Following the events of season 1, a lot changed at Alfea for season 2.

Fate: The Winx Saga season 1 ended with Alfea in Rosalind’s hands, with the invaluable help of Bellatrix, Queen Luna, Riven, and Dane. Although Netflix didn’t reveal details about the plot of season 2, it will undoubtedly deal with the aftermath of Rosalind’s rise to power and what that means for the Winx.

To Rosalind, they’re a threat and the Winx are not going to give in easily to Rosalind’s tyranny. They will fight her with all the strength they have. Bloom will be key since we still don’t know what’s behind her story, the truth about her parents, and why Rosalind wanted to test her powers with the Burned Ones.
