Gujarat Titans (GT) player Sai Kishore grabbed an incredible catch off Yash Dayal’s delivery to dismiss Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock in the 57th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on, Tuesday, May 10.

Defending the comparatively small target, Gujarat Titans needed to pick quick wickets to a bag victory in the match against the top-ranked team, Lucknow Super Giants.

Meanwhile, left-arm pacer Yash bagged the first wicket for Gujarat Titans on the 3rd ball of the 4th over by dismissing the wicketkeeper-batsman, De Kock.

After getting smashed for a six on the second ball of the over Yash delivered a full-length delivery on the third ball and the LSG batter went for the drive but the ball took the outer half of the bat and flew towards the backward point.

Left-arm spinner Sai Kishore, who was at the backward point, dived forward to grab a remarkable catch and De Kock’s innings ended at 11 runs off 10 balls.

Batting first, Gujarat Titans were off to a very slow start as in the first 6 overs they were able to score only 35 runs. Just after the strategic timeout Gujarat Titans captain, Hardik Pandya was also cleaned up for 11 by LSG right-arm pacer Avesh Khan and after 10 overs GT were at 59/3.

Then, opener Shubman Gill and David Miller had 52 runs partnership off 41 balls before Jason Holder dismissed the latter for 26 on the last ball of the 16th over.

In the end, Rahul Tewatia and Shubman Gill remained not out and helped Gujarat Titans post 144/4 on the board.
