LSG vs RCB: Watch – Fantastic Review From RCB Sees KL Rahul Walk Back In Steep Run Chase

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) made great use of the Decision Review System (DRS) to effect the dismissal of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) opener, KL Rahul, during their game at the DY Patil Stadium on Tuesday.

Chasing 182, LSG was jolted early in the powerplay when Josh Hazlewood removed both Quinton de Kock and Manish Pandey with excellent Test match line and lengths. They needed a big knock from Rahul to stay ahead in the chase.

The Karnataka batter has been brilliant against RCB in the last few innings but he couldn’t replicate it this time. Rahul tried nudging a slower off-cutter from Rahul down the leg-side but he missed, or so initially they thought.

There were no appeals from the wicket-keeper but Harshal asked for a review and it ended up being a brilliant decision. The Ultra Edge showed a thin spike as the ball passed the bat, meaning Rahul had to walk back after a 24-ball 30.
