Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) Suyash Prabhudessai took an excellent tumbling catch to get rid of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) batsman Deepak Hooda as he was getting dangerous during the 32nd match of the IPL 2022 being played at the DY Patil Stadium on Tuesday.

RCB were asked to bat first as Lucknow captain KL Rahul won the toss and chose to bowl. Both the teams went in unchanged from their last match. However, Dushmantha Chameera gave two huge blows in the first over itself, as Anuj Rawat was out for 4 and the next ball, Virat Kohli was also dismissed caught for a golden duck.

However, Faf du Plessis played a captain’s knock, making 96 in 64 balls with 11 fours and 2 sixes. He got help from Shahbaz Ahmed (26) and Glenn Maxwell (23) as RCB managed to post 181/6 in 20 overs. Dushmantha Chameera and Jason Holder with two wickets each were the best bowlers for the Lucknow franchise.

Deepak Hooda’s Knock Comes To An End Thanks To A Brilliant Effort From Suyash Prabhudessai

Josh Hazlewood did to Lucknow Super Giants, what Chameera had done to RCB and removed Quinton de Kock for 3 and Manish Pandey for 6 runs. KL Rahul did some damage control scoring 30 in 24 balls.

However, he got out at the wrong time and Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda came together to try and form a partnership, but it was a brilliant catch from Suyash Prabhudessai at third man, which ended Hooda’s knock for 13 runs only.

Hooda tried to uppercut a short ball on the off stump over the third man rope but gets under it too much. It swirls towards Prabhudessai, who slides on his knees and safely pouched the catch.
