Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the highest-grossing movies of all time with more than 1.8 billion earned from the film’s theatrical run. It’s the third-highest grossing release ever in the United States and Canada and firmly the highest earner of the pandemic era. It’s not unusual for studios to re-release successful movies in theaters, though it does not typically happen so soon after the original release.

Of course, the big sell of the film is that it unites three Spidey actors all in one place. That had been rumored prior to the movie’s original release, but Sony and Marvel did not officially confirm the inclusion of Garfield and Maguire in any of the trailers or marketing materials. Garfield had also famously denied his involvement in the movie on multiple occasions, and some fans did not really know for sure if both would be featured in the film. That’s all obviously out of the bag now, and that confirmation only helped improve No Way Home‘s box office performance following its intitial release in December 2021.

Tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home – The More Fun Stuff Version go on sale on Tuesday, Aug. 9, and screenings will start on Friday, Sept. 2, 2022.
