SRH vs RCB: Watch – Virat Kohli Gets Dismissed By Jagadeesha Suchith On 1st Ball To Bag His 3rd IPL 2022 Golden Duck

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) spinner Jagadeesha Suchith dismissed Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) opener, Virat Kohli, for a golden duck in the 54th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on Sunday, May 8 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Virat Kohli is having a horrific run in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 as this was the third time he got out for a golden duck in the 15th edition of the tournament.

Kohli registered his first golden duck in the Indian Premier League in 2008 when he was cleaned up by Ashish Nehra and then he was dismissed on golden duck by Sandeep Sharma in 2014 and Nathan Coulter-Nile in 2017. However, in the Indian Premier League 2022 itself Kohli has got out for a golden duck thrice in just 12 games.

Meanwhile, Kohli opened the innings for Royal Challengers Bangalore alongside Faf du Plessis in the 54th IPL 2022 game and left-arm spinner Jagadeesha Suchith opened the attack for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Suchith bowled a fuller length delivery on the pads and Royal Challengers Bangalore opener Kohli chipped it on the short midwicket. However, he was not able to keep it down and Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson was able to grab a simple catch to dismiss Kohli.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Make Two Changes To The Playing XI vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and opted to bat and they made no changes to the playing XI in the match.

On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad made two changes to the playing XI as Fazalhaq Farooqi and Jagadeesha Suchith replaced Sean Abbott and Shreyas Gopal.

Notably, Royal Challengers Bangalore are playing in green kit today and their record in this kit is a poor one as they have won only 2 games in the green kit in the history of the Indian Premier League.
