Chennai: Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi staged a walkout in the assembly on Monday after Chief Minister MK Stalin asked the Speaker to remove the speech given by the Governor. He asked him to record only the speech prepared by the state government. It is said that Governor RN Ravi omitted some points which lauds the Dravidian model, and leaders like Periyar, Anna, Kalaignar Karunanidhi, and Kamarajar. MLAs of DMK alliance parties are raising slogans against the Governor.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin condemned Governor RN Ravi’s speech and asked the speaker to remove his portions from assembly records. During this statement by MK Stalin, Governor walked away midst of the session.
